This past
week was quite difficult...i feel like it will be like this for a while
haha Never in my mission have we struggled so much to get inside a
house...It has been quite hard...but we have seen so many miracles this
week with a few people accepting us and going to church in the first
week haha...
Friday
was our hardest day... with every one of our appointments being
cancelled....We didnt teach a single person the whole day...it was super
hard...walking and knocking doors and talking with people on the street
and walking and walking and walking...I told my companion that I have
actually become desensitized to the rejection of the people haha not
sure if thats good or bad but I feel sad for the person but I am not
really feeling the rejection as much as I once did haha (One thing that
comes with time) Almost to end our day we finally found a young man of
27 years that waved us over...we were able to see his interest and set
an appointment for Saturday...His name is Eduardo and he has been to
every church there is here in Hermosillo...he has studied the bible lots
and knows alot...We arrived Saturday...he was there and we were able to
Share the message of the Restoration with him...He kept on smiling and nodding his head through the whole lesson...and he kept saying " This
is what I have been needing" and "This is what I have been waiting for"
He had tons of questions about the organization of the church...We told
him it consisted of Prophets and Apostles...he said "Perfect" haha he
also had many questions about baptism and in our first visit he accepted
the Baptism Invitation...and he went to Church yesterday met friends,
had prayers adn questions answered and is really excited to go again
this next week... Its amazing the way the Lord works...He is preparing
everyone (including us) in a certain way...
That is my experience this week...Have to go...sure love you guys
